Research on thin film solar cells with copper indium sulphide at ELIS, University of Gent


In the European research programme JOULE (PROCIS) (1998-2000) and CISLINE (2002-2004), copper indium disulphide films are continuously deposited on a copper tape, and completed to solar cells. Cell production is at the Institut für Solar Technologien GmbH (IST), Im Technologiepark 7, D-15236 Frankfurt/Oder (Germany). The PROCIS project was coordinated by ECN (the Netherlands), the CISLINE project is coordinated by IST. The task of the university of Gent is cell characterisation and modelling.
