From the Sint-Pietersstation in Gent, frequent trams or taxis take you to the city center (5 min). Detailed travel information By planeBy plane from Brussels International Airport The airport has a train station on floor -2 On weekdays there is one fast train to Gent every hour (start at xxh49m, direction De Panne, cost 8.4 euro, 56 minutes). You can also take a frequent train to Bruxelles-Midi (further, see train info) By plane from Charleroi, Brussels South (Ryanair) Take a city bus to Charleroi train station and then the train to Bruxelles-Midi Or take the airport bus to Bruxelles-Midi train station. (further, see train info) By trainBy train from Paris, Köln, London, you arrive in Bruxelles-Midi train station Take the train to Gent from Bruxelles-Midi (Brussel-Zuid, Brussels-South) There are at least 2 fast, direct trains every hour (no stops inbetween). Take a train with destination: De Panne, Oostende or Knokke. Train info at: http://www.b-rail.be/main/E/index.php By carBy car, Gent can be reached by the highways E40 or E17. Driving toward the center brings you to the Parking route (most of the center is free of cars). Follow the signs (P-route) to the parking P7 (Sint-Michiels).
