Call for papers

PAPERS

We strongly encourage submission of a full paper, to be handed over at the workshop site, or sent to numos@elis.ugent.be. There is no strict page limit.

Please find here a template for the article in the proceedings. Place the example (the .doc file) and the template (the .dot file) in the same directory. Please follow the instructions given in the example article carefully. The deadline for the submissions is Friday, the 4th of may. Submissions should be in .doc format (MS Word).

The proceedings will follow within 3 months after the end of the workshop, both as hardcopy (with an ISBN publication number) and in an electronic version (CD-ROM).

REGISTRATION

The registration fee for regular participants is 150 €, when pre-registering before March, 5th 2007.

There is no registration fee for participants working on the Athlet project, and for pre-doctoral researchers (show a PhD student card or other suitable ID at the registration desk of the workshop). Registration before March, 5th 2007 is however still required.

After March 5th 2007, higher fees apply to all participants: pre-doctoral researchers pay 100 €, regular participants and Athlet members pay 200 €.

Registration covers the Workshop attendance, lunches and one diner during the workshop, and the Workshop Proceedings.

There is a limited financial support for travel available for young researchers and PhD students. The grant application should be submitted together with the abstract: a short CV and a recommendation letter from a professor, explaining why support is requested. Contact the organisers when you need a Letter of Invitation or other support for a visa request.

The registration fee can be paid in advance by credit card, or with credit card or cash at the registration desk at the start of the workshop.
