The aim of this paper is to analyze the characteristics of the behavior of people who are reproducing a piece of music from memory in an intuitive way.There is experimental evidence that most people prefer to imitate the melody using text or syllables.There also appear to be significant effects of gender and musical background, as well as differences between the reproduction of familiar and unfamiliar pieces.Finally, there also significant correlations between behavior and musical content.
